Porter Syrup

Great syrup for pancakes, waffles, ice cream and other desserts.

½ stick of butter

2 eggs

2 cups of sugar

¾ cup porter beer

2 small strips of orange rind

1 teaspoon vanilla

Melt butter in a pan. In a separate bowl beat eggs into sugar until fluffy. Whisk in beer. Add beer mix to butter, add orange rind and bring to boil, simmer for 5-6 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
