Blue Heron

See All Like
Named after Portland’s official city bird, our heritage beer was first brewed in 1987 as a special release for the Audubon Society. The taste reflects its Northwest roots, drawing on indigenous ingredients from the hop fields of the Willamette Valley and the barley fields of the high desert. This pale ale is round and soft on the palate, with a crisp finish.

The crisp finish of Blue Heron pairs beautifully with fresh grilled salmon, especially when prepared with citrusy or Asian-inspired glazes or marinades.

The round, soft palate feel of Blue Heron make it a delightful companion to the cold, sugary and spicy flavors of this old-school dessert.
